Oliver and Audrey,

What a fun Halloween we had this year! We did a little “trial” trick or treating in the afternoon with a visit to Great Grandmas and Grandma and Grandpas houses. Then Uncle Matt and Aunt Sabina joined us for dinner before heading over to the Seay’s house to join them in trick or treating this year. (Can’t forget that Oliver helped create Aunt Sabina’s cat nose and whiskers to match his and Audrey’s before we left.)
This was Audrey’s first REAL trick or treating adventure as last year she was just carried around in the baby carrier. Her and Oliver had been practicing trick or treating around the house for a few days so she was pretty much pro! She kept up with the boys for the most part, would announce “more candy please” from house to house, and even managed to collect a few rocks and a pine cone into her bucket along her walk.
Oliver got enough candy to fill his bucket which is a first for him! Between Mitchell’s rain cloud hat and Cruz’s hot air balloon, we got a lot of costume compliments as we made our way through the neighborhood.
