Oliver and Audrey,

We used to have a tradition of going on a trip each December, but last year it was not possible. We decided to try to continue the tradition by going on a trip this year. We took the short drive to Huntington Beach for a few days. You went to Knott’s Merry Farm for the first time and had lots of fun riding the rides, seeing the decorations, and characters. Audrey loved the train ride and Oliver loved the Christmas show. Mommy even got to ride a roller coaster that seemed too scary for Dad. We also enjoyed going to the beach and playing in the sand, being thrown in the air, and making sand angels. Our last adventure was ice skating, another first for Oliver and Audrey. Audrey did not like it at first, but you eventually did some skating with Mommy holding your hands. Oliver seemed like an old pro and was working on his basic moves while impressing Mommy and Daddy. Overall we had a really fun time and can’t wait for the next time we can go on another trip!
