Happy 5th Birthday! We started off this morning opening presents, then you enjoyed birthday pancakes for breakfast. You received FaceTime calls from family and friends and even had a few driveway visits. We ended the evening with your dinner request of McDonald’s and a delicious Super Mario birthday cake. This birthday was different than originally planned thanks to being in quarantine due to COVID, but you still had a ton of fun. We look forward to more celebrations with family and friends soon!

It’s hard to believe that you are five already, although most days you act much older. You thought turning 5 meant you were ready for a computer and a cell phone, but you will have to wait a bit longer for those. We love watching you grow into a “big” boy and you remind us often you aren’t a little kid anymore. You love your sister almost as much as she loves you and are the best big brother she could ever ask for. May you always have a love for learning (especially math) and keep your energetic zest for life.
