We officially kicked off the Christmas season with a ride on the Coaster Holiday Express. The Phillips family invited us to ride with them and we were excited to be able to get tickets in the same train car. We rode the coaster from Oceanside to Solana Beach and back again as we were visited by Elsa and Anna, Carolers (who also did a story time and gifted us a book) and Santa and his Elf! Audrey was most excited about Elsa and Anna, but did not want her photo taken with them. Oliver had a great time writing down what he wanted from Santa, and was coaxed into smiling for a photo with him (which was less of a win with Audrey). Overall we had a great time and are looking forward to more Christmas events throughout the month.
